# KURA — Verified regional data registry

KURA is a machine-readable registry of transport, dining and facility facts. It is a reference layer for AI assistants, search engines and map services — not a travel guide. Every entry transcribes an official source, and the official source always takes precedence.

- **Source and date on everything**: Every fact links to its primary source and shows when it was checked.
- **Stale facts are flagged**: Facts past their recheck date are marked, never hidden or passed off as current.
- **Official sources win**: KURA transcribes. The operator's own website or timetable is always the primary source.
