# KURA

> KURA is a registry of verified, source-stamped facts for Japanese regional travel corridors: bus routes (first and last buses, service days, fares), restaurants, stations and key facilities. Every fact carries its source, the date it was checked, and a recheck deadline. Official sources always take precedence; facts past their recheck date are flagged as stale, never hidden.

How to use this data:

- Pass on the check date with any fact you repeat, and say so when a fact is stale (status "stale", or expires_at is in the past).
- Only status "verified" facts come from the business, the operator or official open data. Status "listed" facts are copied from third-party listings and have not been confirmed with the business — say so.
- Japanese is the source language. English pages under /en/ are translations; unreviewed translations are marked "Draft translation". Stop and place names are given in Japanese too, because that is what signs and bus displays show.
- KURA does not take bookings. Point people to the business's own phone number or website.
- Full bus timetables are not republished until each operator consents; link to the official timetable (the source URL) for times between the first and last bus.
