# Support

KURA gives AI assistants verified local facts for the Echigo-Yuzawa / Minamiuonuma corridor. For help, or to report a fact that is wrong, email info@kurajapan.org. We read every message; please allow a few working days for a reply.

## What KURA can answer

- Bus and seasonal shuttle routes in the corridor, with operators and service days (weekday, weekend and holiday timetables differ).
- Restaurants, stations, ski resorts and other facilities: address, hours, closing days and how to reserve, each with its source and check date.
- Whether you can have dinner and still catch the last bus back, worked backwards from the last scheduled departure.
- Current service alerts, such as seasonal closures.

## What it cannot do

- Bookings, tickets or live availability: contact the business or operator directly.
- JR train times: use JR East's official sources.
- Places outside the corridor: KURA will say it has no data rather than guess.

## Connect KURA to your assistant

The connector address is https://mcp.kurajapan.org/mcp.

- ChatGPT: open KURA in the ChatGPT apps directory and select Connect, then sign in.
- Claude (claude.ai or the desktop app): Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, paste https://mcp.kurajapan.org/mcp, select Add, then Connect and sign in with Google or an emailed code.
- Claude Code: run claude mcp add --transport http kura https://mcp.kurajapan.org/mcp, then type /mcp and sign in.

Then try: "Using KURA, find a soba restaurant near Echigo-Yuzawa station and tell me when it was last checked."

Menu names in your assistant may differ slightly from the steps above as the apps change.

## Reading KURA's answers

- Verified: confirmed by the business or published by the operator itself.
- Not yet confirmed: copied from a third-party listing; check with the business.
- Stale: past its re-check date; it may have changed.

## Report a wrong fact

Email info@kurajapan.org with the place or route, what is wrong, and where you saw the correct information (a photo of a sign or timetable helps). Businesses can send corrections the same way. We check every report against the source before changing the registry.

## Disconnect or delete your data

Remove KURA in your assistant's connector settings to stop using it. To delete your KURA account and request history, email info@kurajapan.org from the address you signed in with. See the privacy policy at https://kurajapan.org/en/privacy/ for what we keep and for how long.
